About Plastisud

Since 1964 in France and 1988 in the US, Plastisud has been designing and manufacturing high-precision multi-cavity injection molds in Closures, Medical and Thin wall Packaging businesses. Plastisud designs and builds pilot and production molds, integrating its own Hot runner systems. Constantly innovating in Mold technology, new Material, new Hot Runner technologies…Plastisud has built more than 5000 molds and is recognized as a world leader in its domain.

Plastisud has two facilities, one in France covering Closures, Medical and Thin wall Packaging businesses and one in the US (Kentucky) for Packaging molds.

We are looking for a Sales Manager (North America based candidate) to extend our domestic business in the US as well as Canada and South America.

Reporting to the US General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for commercially supporting both new and existing customers and grow our portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop business and maximize sales and profit in accordance with objectives
• Manage existing accounts and grow business with them
• Participate and represent Plastisud at trade shows, conferences to promote the company and its technologies
• Travel in the United-States, Canada and sometimes South America to prospect new costumers

Skills set

• Bachelor’s degree in mold making or equivalent technical experience in injection – packaging – closure business.
• 10+ years of experience minimum
• Existing relationships or prior experience in injection molding
• Leadership to create, maintain relationship with customers and prospects
• Outstanding communication skills capable of presenting ideas, selling new concepts
• High performance driven to deliver results
• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision as well as being a successful team player
• Second language (Spanish) is a plus

We are looking for a CNC Mill machinist based in Mt Vernon (KY)  - Night Shift - Monday until Thursday from 3PM-2AM (40hrs/week).

Experience required in working with CNC machines, either lathe or mill.

Candidate will setup, launch new jobs, read prints and follow routers, select tools to reach the most efficient way (feed and speed), check dimensions using gauges...

• $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

We are looking for a Mold Design Engineer based in Mt Vernon (KY) for our Day Shift - Monday until Friday from 7AM-3:30PM (40hrs/week).

Experience required in mold design ideally in packaging industry, use of 3D programs (we use NX) but can be either Solidworks or Autocad.

Make/read prints, build complete molds for our Packaging business (parts, kinematic, assemblies...).
